We’ve previously seen a dinner menu that featured a painting of coneflowers and daisies on the front, with a smaller painting of gaillardia and cattails on the back. This menu has the same two paintings in reverse. These paintings, as I’ve previously noted, were by an artist named Kathryn Fligg and the originals were displayed in the Denver Zephyr‘s bedrooms and compartments.

This appears to complete my set of Denver Zephyr dinner menus from the 1960s, which displayed eight different Fligg paintings on the front covers, with smaller ones selected from the same eight, on the backs. The paintings were:
- Buttercup, anemone, and fringed gentian (with wild rose and lupin on the back);
- Wild rose and lupin (with buttercup etc. on the back);
- Vetch, wild rose, and sand lily (with butter and eggs, asters, and wild pink on the back);
- Butter and eggs, asters, and wild pink (with vetch etc. on the back);
- Baneberry — flower and berry — and chickweed (with columbine and deer vine on the back);
- Columbine and deer vine (with baneberry etc. on the back);
- Coneflower and daisies (with gaillardia and cattails on the back); and
- Gaillardia and cattails (with coneflower etc. on the back).
