The Delta Gamma sorority held its annual convention in Sun Valley in 1954 and were served meals from these menus. These are similar to the postcard menus we’ve seen before, but where the others are about 9-1/2″ tall, these are more than 11″ tall. They are all about 5-1/2″ wide, of course, as that’s the standard width of a postcard.

The fare on this dinner menu dated June 28 is a little more substantial than the lunches. It included a fruit cocktail appetizer, chicken sauté, not-so-light corn fritters, green beans, salad, and a no-doubt low-calorie chocolate angel food cake for dessert. The Trail Creek Cabin restaurant shown in the postcard was originally Averil Harriman’s private cabin and was used by Ernest Hemingway for parties before being turned into a restaurant.
