The is the fourth copy of this title in my collection, each issued about ten years apart. This one uses many of the same photos as the 1936 edition, but they are in color.

A close look reviews the tiny dots indicative of the four-color process. But since at least some of the photos are based on the same black-and-white pictures used in the 1936 version, I suspect someone hand-colored them, and then they were color separated into CYMK half-tones.
This edition is also very similar in format to yesterday’s Western Pacific booklet, right down to the colored map in back. The only major difference is this one has a centerfold photo that spreads across both pages while the Western Pacific one does not.
