1936 Rocky Mountain Views

Although the cover looks the same as earlier editions, this edition of this venerable title has given up the construction paper format and all interior pages are printed on white paper. It also uses black-and-white photos with some green tones, as shown on the cover, making no attempt at full coloration. Instead of having two pages of photo descriptions, the page facing each photo has a three- to five-paragraph photo caption.

A card inserted into the booklet gives a price of $1.00 (about $18 in today’s money), a reduction from the $1.25 for the 1917 edition. That may reflect the lower cost of black-and-white photos vs. color lithographs.
