Here’s a dinner menu from the same rail fan trip that was served by yesterday’s breakfast menu. This menu uses a much more picturesque photo on the cover. Central British Columbia’s Cariboo District, incidentally, is named for the Cariboo Mountains which in turn are named for the Caribou–note the spelling difference–that are found there.

The table d’hôte menu offers halibut, chicken pie, prime rib, and charcoal broiled sirloin steak. All are $3.25 (about $28 in today’s money) except the steak which is $4.50 (a little more than $38).
