Snow Dome in Jasper National Park

Snow Dome is an 11,339-foot mountain in the Columbia Icefield between Jasper and Banff national parks. It is also supposed to be a triple-divide, as water flowing off its summit may reach the Arctic or Pacific oceans or Hudson Bay (though most geographers consider Hudson Bay to be a tributary to the Arctic Ocean, which would take away Snow Dome’s status as a triple divide).

Dated 1941, this is an a la carte menu that is pretty much identical, on the inside, to other a la carte menus fo the same time period, such as this one. Typically, such menus would be given to both lunch and dinner passengers with an insert showing table d’hôte offerings and other specials specials. In fact, several items on the menu say “see table d’hôte menu” for more specifics such as kinds of soup or fish available that day.
