The 1967 timetable has the same number of pages as the one five years before, but the centerfold map is greatly simplified, with the disappearance of most branch lines as well as the Crowsnest route. Inside, the dome-car equipped Dominion is gone, replaced for summer, 1967 only by the non-dome-equipped Expo Limited.

Frequencies were reduced on many other routes including Montréal-Ottawa and Toronto-Sault Ste. Marie. Where the 1962 timetable has five pages of train schedules after the centerfold map, the 1967 just has one page showing two little bus timetables and their connections with the Canadian. Although Via was still ten years away, Canadian Pacific was rapidly downsizing its passenger service.
