Here’s a set of eleven Your America postcards issued by the Union Pacific right after World War II to encourage people to resume traveling. The postcards were illustrated by the Willmarth Studio of Omaha, which did a lot of illustration work for UP during and after the war.

I’ve put all eleven postcards–one for each state then served by Union Pacific–in a single PDF. As a part of an iconic scene from each of the states, four of the postcards have steam-powered freight trains, one has a steam-powered heavyweight passenger train, three have bright yellow streamliners, while the other three have no trains.
