This menu is the same size and printed on similar paper to yesterday’s. The back cover, however, prominently mentions the new Denver Zephyr, which–it says–“inaugurated 16-hour service between the Great Lakes and the Rockies May 31st.” That dates the menu to 1936, when the Burlington took two of the earliest coach-only Zephyrs and began running them to compete with the City of Denver.

The front cover image is a painting, not a photo, but like yesterday’s it is glued onto the cover. As shown enlarged below, there appears to be a signature on the painting, but it is partly obscured by the colors and was partly cut off before fastening it to the cover.
Although both this and yesterday’s menus are for breakfast, the two menus are quite different. Yesterday’s was entirely a la carte while today’s has a la carte on the left and full meals on the right. Just about everything listed on the two pages of yesterday’s menu has been fit into the left page of today’s, and at similar prices.
