The cover photo of the November brochure showed the train crossing the Lucin Cutoff of the Great Salt Lake. I’m not sure where the photo on this cover was taken, but I suspect it was near Chicago on the C&NW, which would explain why UP hastily reissued the brochure with a different photo.
