Here’s another breakfast menu card from Jasper Lodge. The photo at the top is obviously a black-and-white photo with green and red hand coloring of the vegetation. The black bears were left black. (In yesterday’s menu card, most everything was colored except for the car.)

It looks like someone has left a bowl of milk or soup and other food for the bears to attract them for public viewing, a practice that is discouraged today. The unpriced menu is exactly the same as yesterday’s, offering such things as calf’s liver, corned beef hash, chicken hash, Finnan haddie, fillet of sole, wheatcakes, and several other entrées. Since the entrées came with fruit or juice, hot or cold cereal, toast or rolls, and a beverage, it doesn’t appear that any Jasper Lodge guests ever went hungry.
