Union Pacific 1987 Calendar

Considering that the number of train photos in each year’s calendar had grown from three to six in the previous few years, Union Pacific showed remarkable restraint in including just three train photos in 1987. April has a stunning photo of an eastbound Union Pacific container train crossing over itself on the former Western Pacific Williams Loop. This photo must have been taken from the air as there aren’t any nearby mountains high enough to get this view.
