This elegant 36-page booklet is illustrated mainly by 31 woodcuts by three different artists: Frank Carmichael, Alfred Joseph Casson, and J.E.H. McDonald. But it also has five watercolors by A.Y. Jackson. The booklet is introduced with four pages of text and most of the woodcuts are accompanied by a paragraph of text, but the watercolors stand on their own.
