The 1995 calendar has even less geographic representation than the one for 1994, with four photos from California, three from Oregon, two from Wyoming, and one each from Idaho, Oklahoma, and Washington. All of the Oregon photos were taken just a few miles apart from one another in the Columbia River Gorge.

Only half the photos show UP trains, although two more include UP right of way in the background. Downtown San Francisco at night, lightning striking in Yellowstone Park, a Napa Valley vineyard, and Palouse Prairie grasslands in Washington provide some nice scenic views.
Unless I somehow acquire some more, this is the last of my Union Pacific calendars. After 1996, UP changed its calendar format to a more traditional saddle stitch, which was less expensive to produce but also less distinctive. I’ll continue to look for the western editions of the 1960, 1962, 1967, and 1968 calendars and the eastern edition of the 1965 calendar.
