We’ve previously seen a version of this booklet which I dated to 1924 or possibly 1925 based on the fact that it advertised the “New Oriental Limited,” which was introduced in 1924, and that the only photos of that train were interiors or taken in a train yard, not in actual service. This version of the booklet is from one or possibly two years later: it has photos of the train in Idaho, Montana, and Washington. It also has photos of the three monuments dedicated on Great Northern’s 1925 Upper Missouri Historical Expedition, but not any from the 1926 Columbia River Historical Expedition.
