Mt. Rainier 1941 Dinner Menu

As with yesterday’s menu, this one uses nearly the same text on the back as earlier color photo menus. It also has the same combination of photos: Mt. Rainier on the front and Mt. Hood on the back.

This one also has a table d’hôte menu clipped in, featuring halibut, chicken a la king, ham, lamb chops, omelet, and smoked ox tongue. Instead of the printed menu listing Union Pacific’s traditional sirloin steak, a second paper clip holds a note offering a t-bone steak with all the trimmings for $1.50, or about $25 in today’s money.
