  1. Thanks for posting the menu and information about the tour! I was the youngest Buckeye fan on the Gray Train. There was also a Scarlet Train.
    I have two Luncheon Menus from December 28, 1957. They feature photos of Bryce Canyon National Park and Grand Teton National Park. The food selections are the same. It is very likely that my selection was a specially prepared Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, as I was seven at that time.

    My parents, brother, and I had two upper berths, as we were late to make reservations. My grandmother and dad’s brother and his family had some sort of two bedroom unit with a bathroom, I think. Remember, I was seven. We were all in one car and the same cars made the entire trip, except locomotives and dining cars. It was a great trip at the time and I still enjoy the wonderful memories. The train was a big part of the fun. Certainly, a lot more enjoyable than an airplane ride!
