Great Northern 1967 Timetable

After using the color photo of the Empire Builder in Glacier Park on the cover of just two timetables–summer and winter, 1966–the railway decided to rebrand itself using Big Sky Blue in place of the orange-and-green train in that photo. Just as Big Sky Blue was a simplified color scheme compared to the Empire Builder scheme that required four pinstripes, the cover of the 1967 timetable was also simplified.

Inside, the timetables have hardly changed from 1966, being printed in the same font and a similar color and with no cancelled trains. Most train times have changed slightly, with 45 minutes added to the Empire Builder‘s Chicago-Seattle schedule while 45 minutes were cut from the Western Star‘s schedule.
