Although UP still used the color-photo format for its regional guides, by 1964 it had changed its summer tour booklet into an 8×9 brochure using flimsier paper. However, there are still plenty of tours offered: I count 13 ranging from an 8-day Colorado tour to a 20-day California and Southern Utah parks tour.

Many of the tours offered coach options. Eight- and 15-day Colorado tours only came in coach, and cost $202 for 8 days and $306 for 15 days ($1,150 and $1,750 in today’s dollars). The 20-day California deluxe tour was only available in Pullman and cost $629 ($3,600). A 9-day Yellowstone tour cost $248 in coach and $313 in a lower berth (about $1,400 and $1,800 in today’s dollars); a 14-day Yellowstone-Southern Utah parks tour was $302 coach and $369 in a lower berth ($1,720/$2,100). One new tour covered the West Coast including Victoria, BC, Mt. Rainier, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Disneyland (admission included), and Las Vegas, all for $370 in coach and $465 in a lower berth ($2,100/$2,650).
