The full timetable shows each route in three different versions: first condensed timetables, showing stops at principal cities; then more complete timetables, showing all possible stops; then connecting trains and bus lines. The condensed timetable only shows the condensed pages. The West Coast of Mexico, Northwestern Pacific, and other connecting trains are all also left out of the condensed version.
It may also be worth noting that the grade of paper used on the cover of the system timetables was slightly better than the newsprint paper used on the cover of the condensed timetable as well as the interiors of both.
