The back cover of this menu has a caption for the front-cover photo vaguely saying “a northern stream comes home to rest in the clear, green Inside Passage.” The back cover also has a photo of two children and a dog with the caption, “It’s puppy love at first sight for a dog and a small Indian girl.” However, the caption writer seemed to be imagining things as the dog and girl weren’t even looking at each other.

Like older dinner menus we’ve seen for the Alaska-bound Prince George, this one has a “programme of music” on page 2 and an unpriced dinner menu on page 3. Dinner entrées include Welsh rarebit, Hungarian goulash, prime rib, pork chops, and stuffed capon. These were part of what appears to be a five- or six- or possibly even seven-course dinner offered on August 30, 1964.
