More American Legion Menus

Here are two more menus used by American Legionnaires going home from the 1938 convention in Los Angeles. We’ve seen both of these covers before, but these come with a couple of extras.

The lunch menu featured the Great White Throne on the cover and offered a choice of sea bass, chicken a la king, or a cold plate. These came with potatoes, carrots, bread, dessert, and beverage.

Whatever legionnaire collected these menus also took an envelope for mailing them to a friend but, obviously, never used it except perhaps to hold the menus. They also collected some postcards, which they also never used, including the pair below showing Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks.
