Portland Rose 1946 Dinner Menu

Here is a dinner menu to go along with yesterday’s lunch menu. The a la carte sides of the two menus are identical and include such items as lamb chops, chicken and gravy, and corned beef hash.

The table d’hôte side of this one has four entrées: trout, pork chops, fried chicken, and roast leg of lamb. Curiously, though the Portland Rose was supposed to be Union Pacific’s most prestigious daily train on that route, the menu did not offer the sirloin steak dinner that was found on most other UP dinner menus.
