Welcome Aboard Santa Fe’s Super Chief

The Super Chief welcome-aboard brochures had one less panel than the brochures for Santa Fe’s other streamlined trains. Apparently, the railway didn’t think that sleeping car passengers needed as much instruction about how their rooms worked as coach passengers needed for their chairs.

We’ve previously seen the 1964 edition of this brochure. Above is one from Spring, 1963 while below is one from February, 1968. Curiously, no 1968 brochures for other Santa Fe trains are dated February; perhaps Santa Fe made a change to the Super Chief timetable that month but not to any of its other streamliners.
