Rio Grande Ticket Envelope

The Rio Grande Prospector and Royal Gorge both ended service in 1967, leaving only three trains still operated by the railroad: the California Zephyr, the Silverton, and the Ski Train. The first two trains are the only trains mentioned on this ticket envelope, suggesting that it was printed after 1967 but no later than 1970, when Western Pacific ended its portion of the California Zephyr.

The envelope has been used as it lists tickets worth $10.76. However, it doesn’t say where someone was able to travel for that price.
